Abstract: Infertility morbidity is increasing with recent social and economic development, and has become the third most common disease after cancer and cardiovascular disease in women. Female fertility is affected by ovarian reserve function, the ability of ovarian cortical follicles to grow into fertilizable oocytes, which is associated with many factors such as heredity, immunity, environment, life style, age, disease and psychology. As a controllable factor, the positive and negative effects of different food and diet structure on female fertility have been preliminarily determined. We explored the impact of macronutrient intake on female fertility, with detailed analysis of the effects of several essential dietary macronutrients, aiming to provide healthy diet guidance for women of childbearing age to improve diet quality to protect reproductive function and prevent reproductive diseases.
