Global Burden of Thyroid Cancer

Abstract

Abstract: Thyroid cancer is the fastest growing malignancy throughout the world in recent years.Its burden varies across different regions due to specific clinical and prognostic features.Moreover，the changes in its trend of burden are mainly attributed to overdiagnosis and overtreatment.In China，local characteristics of burden of thyroid cancer call for further investigations in etiology，economic and clinical management with native data.

摘要： 甲状腺癌是近年来全球范围内发病率增长最快的恶性肿瘤。但以其特殊的临床和预后特点，甲状腺癌的疾病负担在全球范围内的变迁并非均衡。过度诊疗在全球甲状腺癌的疾病负担特征变迁上起到了重要的作用。但我国甲状腺癌的疾病负担也有其独特之处，提示我国甲状腺癌在病因、卫生经济学和治疗策略选择方面需要更多本土化研究。
