Scope, research needs and applicable methods of general practice research
This article focuses on extracting the Chinese translation of the "European General Practice/Family Medicine and Basic Healthcare Research Compendium". Developed by the European General Practice Research Network, the document consists of 7 parts: Introduction, Introduction, Methods, Results, Independent Chapters, Discussion and Implications.
As a core guideline for the development of general practice research in Europe, this document has had a profound impact on the development of general practice and research in Europe.
The general practice system in Europe and the theoretical consensus based on it may be closer to the current actual situation of general practice in my country.
Due to space limitations, this article publishes the five most important and practical contents for Chinese researchers, including:
(1) Introduction—the core competencies/characteristics of general practice and the significance of general practice research;
(2) Outcomes – research categories and research needs in the six core areas of general practice (essential care management, 'person-centred' care, problem-solving skills, integrative approaches, community-oriented, holistic approaches) and applicable methods;
(3) Independent chapters—how to develop basic research capabilities and avoid common research mistakes;
(4) Discussion - future research priorities of general practice medicine;
(5) Implications—issues that scientific associations, research institutions, patient participation, research work, journals, and research policies should pay attention to in developing disciplines.
Because the general practice system in Europe is similar to my country's, and there is a certain generation gap in scientific research development, this document can also be used by Chinese general practice researchers at the current stage. , scope and scientific research methods, etc., to provide a reference for the development of general medical research in my country.
